For this project, I was tasked with

designing a poster that captures the festival's theme of "playful dystopia".

‍THE GOAL is to create a vibrant, visually engaging piece that would grab attention and reflect the event and its place at the college.

Solution

I drew inspiration from the iconic imagery of Godzilla and the nostalgic style of vintage movie posters. Using dynamic typography and bold graphics, I crafted a design that both promotes the event, event location, and invites audiences to explore the films featured in the festival. This poster combines graphic design, illustration, and typography to create a cohesive and memorable visual for film enthusiasts and the college community.
